Becky Reichenberg, Republican State Committee Woman for St. Johns County, alerted Historic City News that tomorrow, Monday May 2, 2011, the Duval County Republican Party will hold an important press conference concerning the imminent Jacksonville elections.
“Many of us work, shop or frequent Jacksonville for so many of our activities,” Reichenberg told Historic City News. “What happens in Jacksonville directly affects all of us.”
Party Chairman Lenny Curry will be joined by elected officials, candidates running for office in the 2011 Jacksonville elections, Republican Party officials and grassroots leaders. According to Chairman Curry, there will be a major announcement affecting the result of the Mayor’s race.
“The focus of Monday’s press conference is of greater magnitude than a typical announcement,” said Cindy Graves, Republican State Committee Woman for Duval County.
“Our considerable base, the Mike Hogan Campaign, and our formidable grassroots party will be overjoyed by our news,” Chairman Curry said.
The press conference will convene at 11:50 a.m. at the Duval Republican Headquarters located at 4963 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville.
Curry invited all Republicans to show up and take a role at the Conference and encouraged Jacksonville’s residents to participate in the early voting process.
