Grief Conference on Saturday

Sue Wetherington, Grief Ministry Coordinator at Anastasia Baptist Church, reported to Historic City News that they are hosting a community-wide Grief Conference on Saturday, September 19, featuring bereavement speaker and author Karen Tripp, MS.

The all-day conference is for anyone who has lost a loved one and is co-sponsored by the Grief Recovery Ministry at Anastasia Baptist and Haven Hospice.

Ms.Tripp’s latest book, God is Bigger Than Your Grief, will be the focus of the conference. Biblical insights and healing strategies for dealing with the pain of grief will offer comfort and support to attendees.

Those who counsel bereaved families and individuals are especially welcome.

The conference will be held at Anastasia Baptist Church in St. Augustine Beach. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and will end at 4:00 p.m.

Registration prior to the conference is $15 and registration at the door is $20.

Continental breakfast, lunch and conference materials are included. Special inspirational door prizes will be given away throughout the day.
