Historic City News learned that the St. Johns County Education Foundation has welcomed Flagler College student Katy Chubin as their new Integrated Marketing Specialist Intern, according to an announcement from Alaina Cordes.
Chubin will assist with the promotion, publicity and planning of programs and events for the Foundation.
The St. Johns County Education Foundation is recognized as the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District. They lead efforts to provide funding opportunities, support initiatives that enhance public education and recognize and inspire teachers and students within St. Johns County.
Chubin will graduate from Flagler College in the spring of 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with an emphasis in Public Relations. “I am so excited to be a part of the SJCEF team,” said Chubin. “I look forward to learning a lot and helping such a fantastic organization.”
She will assist with the Foundation rebranding campaign; help prepare for annual events such as “Art Attack! Extravaganza” and “Tools 4 Schools”, and work with other foundation-sponsored initiatives that directly benefit the teachers and students of the St. Johns County School District.
