Tracy Glochau informed Historic City News that she recently coordinated a fundraising event to raise money and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Glochau,a Realtor in the St. Augustine Beach and St. Augustine offices of Watson Realty Corp., announced that together with over a hundred of their friends, co-workers and customers, the Watson Realty associates held an evening raffle event at the Groove Café on Anastasia Island.
The event raised approximately $5,600 and included raffles for a variety of great items and weekend getaway packages in St. Augustine, each valued at more than $1,000.
“The Groove Café did a marvelous job hosting the event and we are so appreciative of the generosity of the local businesses that participated by donating the items and prize packages,” said Glochau. “It was a fun time had by all and we look forward to holding a similar event next year.”
