Deputies have made three arrests in a Wynfield Circle burglary that happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. Monday morning, according to a report received by Historic City News.
A twenty-one year old woman and two teenagers, one a juvenile, have been charged with burglary to a conveyance and petit theft that occurred in the Samara Lakes subdivision.
The juvenile is charged with burglary to an occupied dwelling and violation of probation. He was turned over to Department of Juvenile Justice authorities.
The adults were released after posting $3,000 bond each.
Arrested were 18 year-old Christopher Allan Turner who resides at 640 Porto Cristo Avenue, 21 year-old Mishellae Fieraa Harris and 15 year-old Jimmie Dee Wells III of 1249 Paradise Pond Road.
A witness who observed the three attempting to break in to a neighbor’s vehicle, called the Sheriff’s Office to report the crime.
Deputies observed a Toyota, occupied by the three suspects, attempting to flee the area. The license plate was obscured with a cloth.
When officers stopped the vehicle, they discovered a credit card and checkbook belonging to a 24-year old resident in the area. Additional property was found inside the vehicle that had not been reported stolen at the time.
“We are seeking additional victims to claim the property,” Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Kelshaw told reporters.
The three face additional charges as the investigation continues.
