A man is being sought by police today after he reportedly relieved himself in the document tube of a drive-through teller at a Palm Coast bank yesterday, according to an alert forwarded by Public Information Officer Debra Johnson to Historic City News this afternoon.
An employee of RBC Bank in Palm Coast reported to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office that a man pulled up to the teller window yesterday morning around 8:50 a.m. and asked if they sold money orders.
When he was told no, he became upset and mumbled something about bad customer service.
The bank employee said, a short time later, another customer pulled into the same drive-through lane.
The second customer reported that there was liquid in the tube and it smelled like urine.
When the customer picked the tube up, the liquid spilled onto her and her vehicle.
The bank employee inspected the tube and concurred with the customer that it was, in fact, urine.
Deputies collected evidence at the scene. If investigators are able to identify the perpetrator, he will be charged with “creating a nuisance injurious to health”, a second-degree misdemeanor.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at (386) 313-4911 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477).
