St. Johns County Office of Public Affairs spokesperson Karen Pan reported to Historic City News that the third annual Winter Wonderland festival will return starting November 20th and will be running through January 3rd.
Normal Operating Hours:
Seven days a week – 12:00pm-10:00pm*
Adults Only (21 & Up) – Saturdays, 10:30pm-11:30pm
Santa Visits – Nov. 20 – Dec. 24 – 5:00pm-9:00pm
“A Time For Everything” play – Fri & Sat – 6:30, 7:30, 8:30
Sleigh Rides & S’mores available 6:00pm-10:00pm
November 26th – Thanksgiving Day – CLOSED
December 24th – Christmas Eve – Open until 5:00pm
December 25th – Christmas Day – Open from 5:00pm-10:00pm
December 31st – New Year’s Eve – Open until 5:00pm
Things to Do and See…
Outdoor Ice Rink: St. Augustine’s only outdoor ice rink returns this season. The cost to skate is only $10.00 and $2.00 for rental skates! Also, we will be offering a designated skate time just for adults. Adult skate will take place Saturday nights from 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm.
ICE SLIDE: Enjoy the new and improved Ice Slide as you race your friends down duel slides covered in ice. Ice Slide tickets are $3.00 per slide, or 4 slides for $10.00. All riders must be at least 42” to slide.
NEW – Blizzard Bounce House – Kids 12 and under will have fun bouncing around our Holiday themed bounce house. Tickets are only $2.00 per session!
NEW – Elf Express Holiday Train – Kids of all ages will enjoy a train ride that loops past the elf village and Ice Slide. Train tickets are only $3.00 each. Conductor hats and train whistles are available for purchase at the merchandise stand!
Nightly Snow Fall: Every night experience snow in Florida as the Amphitheatre turns in to a Winter Wonderland. Snow falls over the ice rink and elf village every night at 7:30pm and 9:00pm.
Sleigh Rides: Take a horse drawn sleigh ride through an enchanted winter forest. Rides run nightly from 6:00pm -10:00pm, $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Santa Visits: Santa Claus will be available for visits every day from 5:00pm-9:00pm, Nov. 20th – Dec. 24th. Kids of all ages are welcome to come out and get a photo with Santa. Don’t forget to bring a letter to Santa to drop off in our direct to the North Pole oversized mailbox.
Elf Village: Enjoy a unique and magical interactive experience as you explore a village of elf houses. The village is free of charge and open whenever Winter Wonderland is!
Reindeer Games: Test your skills and win a prize at one of our Winter Carnival games, including Candy Hunt, Alpine Toss, Polar Pong, and Elf Zone. Each game costs just $2 for play, and is suited for all ages & skill levels!
Theatre: The Veddy Theatre Group is proud to present A Time for Everything, a heartwarming play tailor made for the holiday season. Performances are Friday & Saturday nights at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, and 8:30pm. Tickets are $5 For more information, please call 904-806-2423 or visit www.veddytheatre.org
S’mores Fire Pit: Turn a chilly night into a fun experience for the whole family. The fire starts every night at 6:00pm, s’mores kits available from concession stands, please no outside food or drinks.
