When the City of St Augustine lights up its holiday tradition with the Nights of Lights, Sallie O’Hara has invited Historic City News readers to stay in town and enjoy the A1A Scenic and Historic Coastal Byway.
The action starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19th at any point along the byway you wish to begin. Friends of A1A community site locations will breakdown at 1:00 p.m. — some homeowner participants may continue throughout the day. Raffle drawing will occur at 5:00 p.m. and winners notified immediately.
“Experience the beauty of the 72 mile drive from Ponte Vedra Beach to Flagler Beach,” O’Hara told Historic City News. “Make a day of it and plan to come back to discover the treasures in your own backyard.”
Sellers and participating businesses will make some extra money for the holidays. Shoppers have an opportunity to win one or all of the four $1000 vacation package raffles.
Packages include hotel accommodations, restaurants, attractions, and other amenities from the best of the byway businesses located in Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine, the Hammock, and Flagler Beach. Don’t forget to check out our marinas found at Vilano Beach, Camachee Cove, and Marineland.
