Train strikes pedestrian closes CR-210 US-1 crossing
Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News that a train-vs-pedestrian collision has occurred near CR-210West and US-1 North; sheriff’s deputies are on the scene at this time.
“The train is stopped at this time,” Mulligan reported. “Traffic at the railroad crossing of CR-210 West is closed.”
Until the collision site can be cleared and it is safe to reopen the crossing, law enforcement is asking all motorists to seek alternate routes to their destinations.
Expect traffic delays and the crossing to remain closed for at least an hour.
No further information is available at this time as the investigation is only beginning; however it is moving forward and details will be forthcoming later tonight.
