Historic City News was notified that our readers are invited to attend when Tim Madigan, an award-winning newspaper journalist and author, appears at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind on March 30th.
He will share his life experiences as well as his work with hospice care at 2:30 p.m. at the campus chapel.
Madigan has written several critically acclaimed books, with his most recent being, “I’m Proud of You: My Friendship with Fred Rogers”, that chronicles Madigan’s friendship with the popular children’s television icon of Mister Rogers Neighborhood and his enduring legacy. His other books include See No Evil and The Burning.
Visitors can enter the school’s campus at Genoply Street off North San Marco Avenue and will receive instructions from campus police.
