The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind Communications Director, Miki Gilloon, informed local reporters at Historic City News that our readers are invited to attend any of the following public events; scheduled during the month of May.
All events are taking place at 207 North San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine.
Dance Troupe “Guys and Dolls”
Time/Location: May 10 at 2 p.m. at Kirk Auditorium
This event will not be streamed live.
Three Weeks of Performing Arts Series – Music Festival
Time/Location: May 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Music Building
Synopsis: Students of the Blind Department will showcase their musical talents. This performance also features the OuttaSight Band, N’Vision and Chorus.
“The Music Man” Dance Recital
Time/Location: May 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Kirk Auditorium
Synopsis: This event features elementary through high school students who will conduct different dance numbers.
Three Weeks of Performing Arts Series – Drama and Dance Showcase
Time/Location: May 18 from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Music Building
Synopsis: Students in the Blind Department are showcasing their musical talents. The performance also features the Drama Club and Blind Elementary Dancers.
Three Weeks of Performing Arts Series – Aladdin
Time/Location: May 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Music Building
Synopsis: This performance features the Blind Elementary Music Theatre Program.
Dance Troupe Final Performance on May 31 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Kirk Auditorium
