“ROMANZA WEEK”, Monday-Sunday, May 14-20, 2012, clusters over 50 shows and exhibitions in a single week to highlight the remarkable living culture of the Nation’s Oldest City.
This weeklong extravaganza builds to a “Monumental 1812 Constitucion Parade and Celebration” that on Saturday May 19 that commemorates the Bicentennial of Spain’s Constitution, and the only remaining monument to it in the whole world – right here in St. Augustine’s Plaza de la Constitucion.

Hispanic American Youth Group – Deltona (HAYGD) has been selected to perform in the 500th Anniversary Celebration of the discovery of Florida by Juan Ponce de Leon. Guest of this event will be the Queen and King of Spain. HAYGD was selected by judges as the Multi-Cultural Folkloric Youth Group for the authenticity and diversity of their folkloric dances.
Miss Mundo Latina is a beauty pageant that advances and supports today’s Latin American young ladies in the Central Florida region… These women are savvy, goal-oriented and aware.
