The St. Augustine local news desk received an announcement from Kathy Schirmacher with information on the upcoming Pops Concert in March and an invitation for all Historic City News readers to attend.
Kathleen Vande Berg, will conduct the St. Augustine Community Chorus in their presentation of the spring “pops” concert; entitled “A Tapestry of American Song” in two performances:

Sunday, March 14, 2010 3:00 PM
The concerts will be presented at the St. Augustine High School Auditorium, 3205 Varella Avenue.
Advance ticket: $15; Ticket at the door: $20; Children 12 and under and students with ID: $5

The St. Augustine Community Chorus, organized in 1948 by the late William Dixon as the St. Augustine Choral Society, is a nonprofit organization and depends on the good will of audiences and donors for support in their musical endeavors. Their mixed chorus is comprised of amateur singers from the area who love good music and enjoy sharing it with audiences.
