City announces extended shop hours

In an e-mail update from Cathy DuPont, Neighborhood Coordinator in the Department of Public Affairs with the City of St. Augustine, Historic City News was informed that both the Visitor’s Information Center Gift Shop and the Spanish Quarter Gift Shop will have extended hours for the month of July.

Beginning Friday, June 27 the Visitor’s Information Center (VIC) gift shop and Spanish Quarter gift shop will remain open until 7:00 P.M. on Friday and Saturday nights through the month of July. The VIC gift shop is located at 10 Castillo Dr. east of the Historic Downtown Parking Facility. And the Spanish Quarter gift shop is located at 33 St. George St.

The extended hours are to better accommodate our visitors and residents alike. Additionally, on the 4th of July, the gift shops will remain open until 8:00 P.M. or later.
