St Augustine High School student, 16 year-old Mark Allen Ochkie Jr, passed away Sunday evening, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle; he had just finished his sophomore year.
Friends and family will remember that he was always smiling and so outgoing. No one ever had anything bad to say about him. He made all kinds of jokes and everyone laughed with him. He was so full of life and you would never see him without a smile. He cheered everyone up even if he was upset.
He loved sports and attended almost every meet, match and game there was. He was a Co-Captain for the Junior Varsity Soccer Team and ran Cross Country. He loved riding his 250cc Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
He was a member of the Sherriff’s Office Police Explorers, Young Eagles of St Augustine and a member of Motorcyclist of St. Augustine.
He went for countless rides with his father, step-mother, brother-in-law and sister. Riding was his life. He was a very safe and cautious rider.
Upon graduation, Mark Allen planned to attend the University of North Florida.
He is survived by his mother and step-mother, Christine Wilson and Michal Ochkie, father and step-father, Mark Ochkie, Sr. and Sean Wilson, his sister, Brittany Ochkie and his brother-in-law, Travis Hutto, his Grandparents, Diane Thomas, Richard Thomas, Carol Ochkie, Russell Ochkie, and his Aunt, Lynette Ochkie and Uncle, Shane Thomas (CeCe Resico) and cousin, Shane Thomas, Jr.
