St. Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman Jeremy Robshaw reported a substantial residential structure fire that occurred last night at approximately 9:45 p.m. to the St. Johns County local news desk at Historic City News.
Initial 911 reports described an unoccupied mobile home in the 10000 block of Gregory Avenue with heavy fire showing from the roof and front porch area.
Firefighters arrived on scene, forced entry onto the property, established a water supply and began to knock down the flames.
Multiple fire units from SJCFR had the fire under control approximately 30 minutes after arrival, but remained on scene for several hours to complete overhaul and assist with the fire investigation.
The structure is listed as a total loss after sustaining significant fire and smoke damage throughout.
There were no injuries reported during this incident and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
