Dorothy Smith

Dorothy Smith, former St. Augustine resident, died in Wellington, Fla., on Monday, April 5, 2010. She resided with her daughter, Jill Gause Davis.

Dorothy was born in Harrisburg, Pa., and graduated from Pennsylvania State Business College. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Smith.

She is survived by a son, Dayle Smith, Grassy Creek, N.C. and his wife, Linda; and her daughter, Jill Gause Davis and her husband, Al. Dorothy had four grandchildren, Tim and Andrew Gause, and Kyley and Jeff Smith. She also had two great-grandchildren, Elisabeth and Ashley. Contributions are gratefully accepted by the family to the American Heart Association. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Craig Memorial Park Cemetery.
