Couple discovered in car parked on TPC 8th green

Deputy Jacob A. Manning responded to a call at the Sawgrass TPC golf course just before 9:00 p.m. last night describing an occupied car that was parked directly on the 8th green; according to information received by Historic City News local reporters. The driver was not Tiger Woods.

The 2007 black Pontiac G6 coupe was driven and occupied by 24 year-old William John Rinaldi who resides at 2527 Chesterbrook Ct in Jacksonville and also occupied by 29 year-old Brianna Lynn Borrelli who reported that she lives at the same residence.

A witness reported that they approached the vehicle, whose engine was still running, and discovered that Rinaldi and Borrelli were inside. The witness had to tell Rinaldi twice to turn off the car and remain inside while he called the Sheriff’s Office.

By the time Sgt. Harrington arrived on the scene, it was determined that the vehicle had done no obvious physical damage to the golf course. When contacted, TPC personnel advised deputies that they did not wish to pursue any criminal charges against Rinaldi, however, they wanted him to be issued a trespass warning.

Borrelli’s mother responded to the scene and took possession of the vehicle.
