Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction, installation of detectable warning surfaces on sidewalk ramps and roadway widening.
Also, nighttime lane closures from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for road resurfacing and sidewalk and drainage repairs.
State Road 206: Possible daytime lane closures over the Crescent Beach Bridge from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No total bridge closures with detours are scheduled until after Labor Day (September).
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the entrance to the flea market between I-95 and Mason Manatee Way for drainage repairs.
Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday from Old Hastings Road to two miles north for shoulder repairs.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures Wednesday at the Vilano Beach pedestrian bridge to for replacement of the bridge by St. Johns County. One direction at a time, traffic will be detoured through the county parking lot and back onto A1A.
Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Turtle Shores Drive in Ponte Vedra to the Guana River State Park north parking lot for tree trimming and sweeping along the bike lane.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.
U.S. 1: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Racetrack Road to the flyover ramp at Durbin Creek bridge near Nocatee for repairing washouts under the ramp.
Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Gun Club Road to St. Augustine Road, just north of the St. Augustine Airport, for shoulder repairs.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to the Duval County line.
