County recruits potential foster parents
Historic City News was informed this morning that the St. Johns County Family Integrity Program is inviting individuals and couples to two upcoming foster parent events.
The first is a question and answer orientation for anyone who wants to learn more about becoming a foster parent. The orientation will be on Tuesday, August 12, at 6:30 pm.
Secondly, the Family Integrity Program will offer a 10-week foster parent training course on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, beginning September 2. The training course is required for anyone to become a licensed foster parent.
Both the orientation and the training course will be held in the Conference Room of the Health and Human Services complex, located at 1955 US 1 South in St. Augustine.
For more information about either program or becoming a foster parent, call Michael McMorrow at 904.209.6130.
