Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning November 30th through December 6, 2013.
All construction projects will be suspended from Wednesday, November 27 through Sunday, December 1st for the Thanksgiving holidays. Work resumes Monday, December 2nd. FDOT offices will be closed November 28-29 for Thanksgiving.
Downtown St. Augustine: Motorists may encounter temporary road closures and delays from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, December 7 for the St. Augustine Christmas Parade. Road closures will affect South Castillo Drive (south of Old Mission Avenue), Avenida Menendez (at the Bridge of Lions), Cathedral Place and Cordova Street. St. Augustine Police will direct traffic through the area.
CR-210: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. west of US-1 for construction of an overpass at CR-210 and US-1.
SR-13: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Lawhon Drive to Scott Road for shoulder repairs.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from SR-16 to the Duval County line.
Daytime lane closures from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday from Roberts Road to Race Track Road for inspecting drainage pipes.
SR-206: Possible daytime lane closures over the Crescent Beach Bridge from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No more total bridge closures with detours are planned at this time.
SR-A1A: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Milliken Lane to the Tradewinds condominium complex for drainage repairs.
US-1: Daytime shoulder closures in both directions between CR-210 and Nocatee Parkway for construction of an overpass at CR-210.
Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to the Duval County line.
