Amber Sullivan and Laura Burchfield are working to put on a fundraising event in honor of 18 year-old Shae Lynn Burchfield, who died in an automobile accident on Wildwood Drive on July 8th.
The purpose of this special benefit is to help the Burchfield family with funeral cost.
The fundraiser is scheduled to be held at Molasses Junction on August 7th from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
A friend of the family, Anne Rhoden, reminded us, “Even if you didn’t personally know Shae, this could have been your daughter, sister, or friend. Please join us for a great cause and celebrate the life of a beautiful young woman.”
“I need help coming up with more money raising activities for this day,” Burchfield asked. “Someone mentioned silent auction, and Dale Davis is in charge of the horseshoe tournament.”
“There will be lots of food, music and friends,” Rhoden wrote. “Please join us in this event to celebrate her life and support her family.”
Yes, she’s in a better place — it is those left behind who grieve and wonder; why?
