Two Palm Coast men were arrested on Saturday morning in connection with an armed robbery to a St Johns County pharmacy as well as a late night burglary of a Palm Coast pharmacy.
St Johns County arrest warrants charged the two in connection with an armed robbery that took place at about 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Moultrie Pharmacy at 3690 US-1 in St Augustine.
“This was a tremendous cooperative effort between both agencies that has resulted in the arrest of two individuals who may have eventually hurt someone had they not been caught as quickly as they were,” said Sheriff James L. Manfre.
Daniel Garrett Lindsey, 29, and Matthew Dalton Barker, 27, were taken into custody without incident, by members of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, and investigators from the Flagler and St Johns County Sheriff’s Offices.
Following their arrests, the men were brought to the Investigative Services Division offices of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and questioned regarding the burglary of the Palm Coast Pharmacy, at 9 Pine Cone Drive in Palm Coast. Detectives will be filing additional charges against Lindsey and Barker in connection with the Flagler County burglary in the coming days.
Both Lindsey and Barker have been taken to the St Johns County jail where they are being held in lieu of $250,000.
