Friends of the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve will hold their 5th Annual 5K/10K Trail Run this Saturday, March 22 starting at 9:00 a.m. according to an announcement received by Historic City News this morning.
Participants will meet at the Trailhead in the Research Reserve, located at 505 Guana River Road in Ponte Vedra Beach.
“This is an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful outdoors and trail experience, while benefitting ongoing research and conservation at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas Research Reserve,” explained Angela Christensen, president of the non-profit support organization. “This jewel of a resource is one of the best-kept secrets around.”
The registration fees are $30 for 5K or 10K, students are $15 for 5K or 10K. The fee includes a tee-shirt, while available. The first 50 entries also receive a free water bottle.
