Bookmobile no longer stops at Palencia Plaza

The St Johns County Public Library reported to Historic City News that our readers will no longer have access to the Bookmobile from its former stop at the Palencia Shopping Plaza, starting immediately.

As an alternative, the library has made “summer stop” arrangements with Palencia Elementary School, located at 355 Palencia Village Drive for the following Wednesday dates:

1. July 2

2. July 16

3. August 6

“These stops are open to everyone,” Library Director Debra Rhodes Gibson said. “You will continue to find us parked in front of Palencia Elementary School.”

There will probably be changes and a new Palencia stop announced before this coming fall, according to Gibson.
