Old Town Trolley of St. Augustine, General Manager David Chatterton, has extended a special invitation to Historic City News readers who are residents of St. Johns County to enjoy free admission to visit some of St. Augustine’s favorite attractions during local’s month, this September.
With your photo identification and proof of residence, individuals and families will be granted free admission during the month of September at the Old Town Trolley Tours, the St. Augustine History Museum, the Old Jail, Potter’s Wax Museum, and the Oldest Store Museum Experience. No groups please.
“There is plenty of free parking available on the lot at 167 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine,” Chatterton told local reporters. “You can save even more during the rest of the year when you enroll in our Hometown Pass program where all St. Johns County residents can take advantage of our tours and attractions for free when accompanied by a full fare adult paid guest.”
Historic City News editor Michael Gold is a huge fan of Historic Tours of America’s attractions, both in St Augustine and in other cities where he and his family have visited. “I have been looking forward to visiting the new Potter’s Wax Museum since it’s relocation to Orange Street, and this will be the perfect opportunity,” Gold said. “I am pretty sure the last time I went through the figures were on exhibit in the building at 1 King Street, where A1A Ale House is today. I’d say I’m a little overdue!”
