Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
I-95 at the Duval County line
Nighttime lane closures from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday from the rest area just south of the Duval County line to Old St. Augustine Road in Duval County for shifting lanes as part of the new interchange with State Road 9B.
May Street (State Road A1A)
Daytime lane closures from San Marco Avenue to Vilano Beach while crews repaint the roadway markings.
County Road 210
Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. west of U.S. 1 and also east of U.S. 1 on County Road 210/Palm Valley Road while a new overpass is constructed.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday a half mile west of U.S. 1 over the San Sebastian River for routine bridge maintenance.
State Road 207
Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday from Holmes Boulevard to I-95 for tree trimming.
State Road A1A
Daytime northbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays from the Guana River North Beach parking lot to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra for tree trimming.
U.S. 1
Complete northbound closure from 7 p.m. Friday, October 24 until 5 a.m. Monday, October 27 from State Road 9B to Old St. Augustine Road for construction at the State Road 9B interchange. Detour is Race Track Road to Bartram Park Boulevard to Old St. Augustine Road.
Daytime northbound lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from State Road 206 to Moses Creek for shoulder repairs.
Daytime southbound lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from Old Dixie Highway to Arapaho Avenue for cleaning ditches.
Daytime lane and shoulder closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from County Road 210 to the Nocatee flyover for construction at County Road 210.
