FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Downtown St. Augustine

Daytime lane closures, road closures and traffic delays Saturday from 8:45-11:15 a.m. for the 35th Annual 5K and Fun Run on the following roads:

• West Castillo Drive

• San Marco from West Castillo Drive to South Street

• Cordova Street from South Street to Bridge Street

• Bridge Street from Cordova Street to Grenada Street

• Grenada Street from Bridge Street to King Street

• King Street from Grenada Street to Sevilla Street

• Sevilla Street from King Street to Valencia Street

• Valencia Street from Sevilla Street to Riberia Street

• Riberia Street from Valencia Street back to West Castillo Drive

• The Fun Run portion of the race will only affect short portions of roads directly adjacent to Francis Field, including parts of Riberia Street, West Castillo Drive, Cordova Street and Orange Street.

San Marco Avenue

Daytime lane closures from U.S. 1 to State Road 16 for painting roadway markings.

State Road 13 and State Road 16

Daytime lane closures on both roads at the intersection from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for clearing property for the Wards Creek Bridge Replacement project.

State Road 207 in Hastings

Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Morrison Road to Orange Street for ditch cleaning.

State Road 312

Daytime eastbound lane closures Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and nighttime eastbound lane closures Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. over the Mickler O’Connell bridge for concrete repairs.

State Road A1A

Daytime lane closures from King Street to Mickler Road for painting roadway markings.

Daytime lane closures on Coastal Highway Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Beachcomber Way to the Guana River State Park entrance for cleaning the bike lane.

Daytime lane closures on Ponte Vedra Boulevard Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Fairfield Drive to Mickler Road for tree trimming.

U.S. 1

Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Las Calinas Boulevard to Abbotts Way for shoulder repairs.

Daytime lane closures from State Road 16 to the Duval County line for painting roadway markings.
