Tuesday 1/27 is a very important day – Its Election Day! The Primary Election is open to all registered Republicans in the following 4 counties: St Johns, Flagler, Putnam and a part of Volusia County.
These Special Elections were called by Gov. Scott to fill vacancies in Florida Senate District 6 and Florida House Districts 17 and 24.
9,077 Voters in St Johns County have already cast their ballots in this election: 4,350 early and 4,726 by absentee ballot.
The following information is for St Johns County voters:
Tuesday – Election Day: All 46 precincts will be open in St Johns County from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters are required to vote in the precinct of their legal residence on Election Day.
Due to a law change, voting by absentee ballot at the Elections Office on Election Day is now restricted to emergency circumstances only.
Should a voter have an emergency situation making them unable to vote at their precinct on Election Day, they will be required to complete an affidavit stating of the emergency.

If your address has changed, call the Elections Office before you go to vote. We can update your information and send you to the correct polling place. This is a real time saver.
Election results will be available on the Elections Office website, www.votesjc.com. After 7:00 p.m., absentee and early voting totals will be uploaded and available. The precincts will be posted as they arrive at Elections Central.
