Arrest comes from last week’s break-in at Sangrias

Evidence collected after the January 23rd burglary of Sangrias, located at 35 Hypolita Street in St Augustine, has led to the arrest of 31-year-old Kenneth Corwin Moore; according to a report received by Historic City News today.

Moore was arrested today, and is currently being held without bond, after being charged with three felony crimes — burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. He was transported to the St Johns County Detention Facility by officers from the St. Augustine Police Department.

“On the night of the break-in, a manager at Sangrias explained to the officers what was missing, the list included a new surveillance system,” police spokesman, Mark Samson told reporters. “Officers Truncellito and Martin were able to identify Moore from surveillance video images from a near-by business.”

Moore, who resides on Sand Dollar Court in St. Augustine, voluntarily came to the St. Augustine Police Department today to be interviewed by detectives. He was arrested at the conclusion of the interview.
