Reunion of First Spanish Period families

Historic City News was asked by our reader, Crystal Solana Bryan, if we could help the non-profit group, Los Floridanos Society, Inc., as they prepare to host a 450th First Spanish Families Reunion over Labor Day Weekend 2015.

This includes not just the Solana and Sanchez families, but extends to all the 1st Period Families, that includes:
Peres, Gonzales, Ponce, Ponce de Leon, Menendez, Leturiando, Serrano, Alvarez, Jacinta, Ximinies, Reyes, Torres, Duenas, Rica, Velasquez, Tinadas, Valderama and many more.

“We are actively seeking any and all descendants of Florida’s First Spanish Families, who came here during the 1565-1763 time period,” Bryan told Historic City News. “We want them to know that they are invited to attend.”
