Florida senator Travis Hutson told Historic City News this week that, even though the legislative session has ended, they were unable to agree on a budget.
“We will return to Tallahassee in June to sort out our differences,” Senator Hutson told reporters.
Last week was also a busy week for visitors and citizen groups from across the District who participated in various events in and around the Capitol complex.
Two traveled distance, and time; hundreds of years, to be exact. Pedro Menendez de Aviles (Chad Light) and Henry Flagler (John Stavely) paid a visit on our new senator.
Among other visitors at the senator’s office:
- Chiropractors visit for chiropractic week
- “Let Get Drown to Business Team” visit for children’s week
- Flagler County commissioners and administrators
- 4-H Club of St Johns County
- 4-H Club of Flagler County
- Flagler County Chamber of Commerce
“I greatly appreciate all of my visitors for traveling so far out of their way to see me in Tallahassee,” Hutson said. “As always, I thank you for your confidence in my service. It is an honor and a privilege to serve our district in Tallahassee.”
