Undersheriff honored for thirty-one years of leadership

Hundreds of friends and colleagues came together tonight to celebrate the career of one of our state’s most successful and accomplished law enforcement leaders.

Joel Bolante’s integrity, ability to effectively lead, devotion to serving others, and gift for teaching makes him very special to our community and college. As a highly talented senior executive, he is an excellent example of what I like to call “the charisma of competence.”

We are especially fortunate to have Professor Bolante as a member of our part time faculty in the Public Administration Program at Flagler College. For twelve years, he has shared his experience and expertise with our students. He’s very popular with our students.

I am truly grateful to have him as a good friend, mentor, and academic colleague.

Congratulations to Undersheriff and Professor Joel Bolante on your thirty-one years of leadership and service in law enforcement – we are very much looking forward to having you teach with us for many years to come!
