FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

I-95 just south of County Road 210
Daytime shoulder closures Saturday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment related to the First Coast Expressway project.

I-95 from north County Road 210 rest area to south of Old St. Augustine Road
Nighttime southbound lane closures Sunday through Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and northbound lane closures Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for the First Coast Expressway construction project.

May Street
Nighttime lane closures Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from San Marco Avenue to the Vilano Bridge to replace power poles.

Picolata Road
Daytime lane closure Monday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from San Marco Avenue to Ponce De Leon Boulevard (U.S. 1) to clean curb inlet.

Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from King Street to Picolata Road to clean curb inlets.

State Road A1A – Bridge of Lions
Nighttime bridge closure on Saturday, July 4, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for Independence Day Holiday fireworks.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Mickler Road to Crossroad Lakes Drive to clear brush along roadway.

Nighttime slow-moving operations Sunday through Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Vilano Beach Town Center to the Serenata Beach Club for painting roadway lines.

State Road 13 at State Road 16 – Wards Creek
Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday on both roads at the intersection from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for pipe installation and construction related to the Wards Creek Bridge replacement project.

Daytime turn-lane closures Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Road for electric pole replacement. Traffic will be detoured to Lewis Speedway.

Daytime lane closure Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. over Cracker Branch in Hastings for routine bridge maintenance.

Nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. to upgrade traffic signals.

Nighttime lane closure Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. at Health Park Boulevard at the entrance of Flagler Hospital to install traffic signal mast arms.

Daytime lane closure Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 4900 US Highway 1 North to repair turn lanes at the entrance of the St. Johns County Airport.
