International engines will be features during this year’s North Florida Antique Engine Association’s Antique Engine and Tractor Show on December 11th and 12th, according to an announcement received by Historic City News this week.
Admission for the Antique Engine and Tractor Show is $5 per person and $2 for wagon rides.
“The show will include a wide variety of antique engines, tractors, and other mechanical equipment,” a Florida Agricultural Museum spokesperson said. “Along with the show, there will be a tractor parade and other activities for the whole family, including holiday crafts for children, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and wagon rides around the museum property.”
The Florida Agricultural Museum is located at 7900 Old Kings Road North in Palm Coast. The engine and tractor show is being held December 11th and 12th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Closed-toe shoes are recommended when visiting the museum.
The North Florida Antique Engine Association’s mission is the collection, restoration, and exhibition of machinery, power producing devices, and other antiques. Each member of the association has a collection of engines and machinery including various makes and models of tractors, other farm machinery, and lawn equipment both hand and power operated. The Florida Agricultural Museum, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization in Palm Coast Florida. The museum was established at the request of former Agricultural Commissioner Doyle Conner in 1983 in Tallahassee to help preserve Florida’s agricultural heritage.
