Historic City News is proud to announce that two Northeast Florida Young Republicans have received high honors from the Florida Federation of Young Republicans during the 2016 Annual Convention recently held in Melbourne, Florida.
Elizabeth Granite, President of the St. Johns County Young Republicans was named the 2016 Florida Federation of Young Republicans “Woman of the Year”.
Patrick Juliano, President of the Flagler County Young Republicans was named the 2016 Florida Federation of Young Republicans “Man of the Year”.
They were honored for their commitment and dedication to the Young Republican organization.
- Elizabeth Granite has been the President of the St. Johns County Young Republicans since 2015. She previously served as the club’s Vice President. Elizabeth has been active in the Florida Federation of Young Republicans since 2014. She was previously elected as Region 6 Chairman (Northeast Florida), and was re-elected as the National Committeewoman of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans. Chairman Foster stated, “Elizabeth has always been there for us and continues to be a vital asset to the organization. She brings experience, excitement and the energy we need to elect Republicans.”
- Patrick Juliano has been the President of the Flagler County Young Republicans since 2013. He was presented the award by Florida Federation of Young Republican Chairman Robert Foster. Chairman Foster stated, “Whenever we needed something to get done, we called on Patrick, and he would go above and beyond the call of duty”. Juliano previously served as Treasurer of the Florida Federation of Young Republicans and has currently serves as Association of Club Presidents Chairman since March 2014. Patrick has been involved in Republican Party politics since 8 years old in New York and has been a Florida Young Republican since 2010.
About the St. Johns County Young Republicans
The Saint Johns County Young Republicans have been an active Young Republican professional organization since 2004. The SJCYRs provide support to the Republican Party by getting out in their Community and making sure to educate the Voters and securing voters. The SJCYRs meet every 4th Tuesday of the month and alternate their meetings between Caddy Shack in WGV and Ancient City Brewing.
About the Flagler County Young Republicans
The Flagler County Young Republicans were established in 2010 and chartered by the Florida Federation of Young Republicans and the Young Republican National Federation in 2013. Young Republicans are registered Republicans who are 40 years old or younger and are interested in taking an active role in Republican Party politics. The best way to organize is on the local level because the foundation of the Young Republicans is built from the grassroots level on up. The Flagler County Young Republicans meet the 1st Thursday of every month at the Palm Coast Hilton Garden Inn at 7:00 p.m.

The Florida Federation of Young Republicans is an officially chartered Republican organization founded to unite and coordinate amongst Young Republican chapters within the State of Florida as well as to advocate for Republican office-holders, candidates, and ideas.
