Tonight’s Concert in the Plaza is cancelled

Melissa Wissel reported to Historic City News that the final performance of the 2016 Concerts in the Plaza scheduled for this evening has been postponed.

Lonesome Bert and the Skinny Lizards, originally scheduled for September 1, will be rescheduled.

“Thursday was to be the last of the 2016 performances for St. Augustine’s Concerts in the Plaza,” Wissel told local reporters. “With storms associated with Tropical Storm Hermine in the forecast, the City of St Augustine made the decision to hold an encore concert at a future date to be determined.”
