First 1,621 early votes cast in General Election

St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, Penny Halyburton, reported to Historic City News the results of the first day of early voting in the November 2, 2010 General Election.

1,621 total ballots were cast at the six early voting locations.

306 Supervisor of Elections Office
429 Ponte Vedra Library
275 St Augustine Beach City Hall
273 Southeast Branch Library
38 Town of Hastings

Voting will continue for the next two weeks, Monday through Saturday, until Saturday, October 30, 2010.
