A new volunteer orientation is planned for September 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the GTM Research Reserve Visitor Center located at 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach.
“Becoming a volunteer is a great way to get involved at the reserve,” Rininger told local reporters on Friday.

Learn more about this month’s events at the GTM calendar. The GTM Research Reserve is offering this introduction to the volunteer program for interested parties. One of several popular activities is the Marine Turtle Patrol, where volunteers monitor seasonal turtle nests along the north coastal beaches.
