Members of the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Inc., are invited to attend a free members-only event Monday evening featuring a premier screening of “Gullah-Geechee Corridor and East Coast Greenway”.
The documentary features the rich culture of African Americans in St Johns County, while highlighting three cycling trails known as Rails to Trails, the SEA Island Loop, and the East Coast Greenways presented by Derek Hankerson.
Hankerson is of Gullah-Geechee descent and is an African-American documentary filmmaker, author, and historian.
The presentation and screening will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27 at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum.
