Ancient City Poets will present a poetry reading from 3 to 5 pm at City Coffee Company, 1280-A North Ponce De Leon Blvd (near the Village Inn) on Sunday November 28. The featured poet will be retired Chief Petty Officer Terence Lee Conway. Published in Unrestrained – A Poetry Anthology by the First Coast Poets Society of Jacksonville, Conway has been writing since 2001. His memorable poems contain humor and deep meaning. His current book, Simple Poems for Brilliant Minds, is a work in progress. There will also be an open mic portion hosted by Chris Bodor from the St. Johns Cultural Council for all those who wish to share a few poems of their own or their favorite poet.
