The St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary has announced to Historic City News that they will be sponsoring the 14th Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival scheduled for April 3, 4, and 5, 2009.
This year’s featured performer, Leon Russell, songwriter and performer, is scheduled to appear Saturday, April 4th at 8:00 p.m.
The Rhythm & Ribs Festival has been voted St. Augustine’s “best festival” over the past 8 years by The People’s Choice Awards and features award winning barbeque as well as non-stop music all weekend.
Each year the proceeds from the festival go toward local charities, scholarships, and international humanitarian efforts.

Friday, April 3 is FAMILY NIGHT OUT with wrist bands for ENDLESS Childrens Rides, Games, and Activities
The Rhythm & Ribs Festival will be located at the Special Events Field (St. Francis Field) on Castillo Drive next to the Historic Downtown Parking Garage, between US 1 and San Marco Drive.
Hours of Operation: Friday 5 pm – 10 pm, Saturday 11 am – 10 pm, and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm
General Admission: $2 except $5 on Saturday after 4 pm
