Historic City News was informed that two teenagers were arrested Tuesday morning following the early morning armed robbery of a Matanzas High School student who was waiting at a Palm Coast bus stop.

Lofton back in local county jail
Historic City News has learned that former St. Augustine resident, 39 year-old Eugene Laquan Lofton, Jr., who was sentenced on April 6th, 2010 and is currently serving a 9 year sentence for cocaine sales, has been arrested by the Department of Corrections and returned to St. Johns County under $1 million bond.
Last nights Innlet Beach boil water notice lifted
Jason Rickards, MFRC, PWS, St. Johns County Utility Department Compliance Coordinator, informed Historic City News local reporters that his office has issued a “Retraction Notice” to lift the original “Boil Water Notice” in effect for portions of three Ponte Vedra Beach subdivisions.
