In unofficial totals received by Historic City News from Jenny M. O’Dell, Director Of Public Information & Voter Education for the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, we learned that voter turn out was good for the first day of early voting.
Nearly four thousand ballots were cast at early voting locations in Julington Creek (814), Supervisor of Elections Office (728), Ponte Vedra Library (898), St. Augustine Beach City Hall (740), Southeast Branch Library (651) and at the Town of Hastings (93).
Early voting continues through Saturday, November 1, 2008, with polling locations open Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at all locations.
Voters may vote early at ANY Early Voting location in St. Johns County.
