In an announcement from Chris Kamienski, Executive Vice President and North Region Market President for Prosperity Bank, Historic City News and Media was advised that effective Friday, August 15th at 5:00 p.m., the Ponte Vedra Banking Center and the Jacksonville Beach Banking Center will close permanently.
Both locations are being consolidated into a new banking center on Hodges Boulevard in the Target Shopping Center.
Although customer accounts will be transferred automatically, Kamienski says that customers with safe deposit boxes in either of the closing locations need to come in by July 31, 2008 to remove the contents. Customers who continue their banking relationship with Prosperity Bank are being offered one year free rental on a safe deposit box at the new Beach and Hodges branch beginning Monday, May 19th according to Kamienski.
Additional information can be obtained by calling the bank’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-347-9680.
