Posted on 05/19/200805/19/2008 By Historic City News

St. Johns County Auditorium
In an announcement received by Historic City News this morning, we are advised that the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, May 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the County Auditorium, located at 4020 Lewis Speedway in St. Augustine.

The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to consider and possibly take action on a proposed ordinance to place Charter Government as a referendum item on the August 2008 election ballot. The Board may also discuss and take action on any other matter that may legally come before it during the Special Meeting.

The most updated version of the Charter Document is available on the County website by visiting www.sjcfl.us and clicking on the Charter Government icon.

More information is available by contacting Public Affairs Specialist Karen Pan at 209-0549.
