St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Communications Manager Tara Howard reported to Historic City News that this week launched the AAA Heads-Up Driving Week to reduce distracted driving and improve safety on our roadways.
AAA has partnered with the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce to encourage business people to set a positive example and serve as role models committed to reducing their distracted driving habits.
There will be a formal signing of a “Safe Driving Pledge” encouraging a lifetime of distraction-free driving behavior beyond the commitment for AAA Heads-Up Driving Week this morning at the Chamber.
AAA Auto Club South will also announce the details of its statewide Distraction-free Driving “Chamber Challenge” in order to continue the vital dialogue on distracted driving, engage the business community in a lifesaving cause and further educate the public about the associated risks of distracted driving.
