Historic City News has learned that with six public hearings, Mayor Joe Boles is predicting the city commission’s next regular meeting on April 27th could be a long one.
Approved Monday for hearings and final action are ordinances to allow a St. Augustine Foot Soldiers monument in our Plaza de la Constitución commemorating the 1964 Civil Rights movement, a Planned Unit Development (PUD) at 180 St. George Street, amendments for already approved PUDs for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Augustine and the Whispering Creek Town Center, a 5-year capital improvement schedule, and landscape watering regulations according to this week’s St Augustine Report.
