Nolan recognized by Governor

Historian David Nolan was honored last night with the Governor’s Points of Light Award, for his volunteer service to our city.

Nolan remarked that his service is a reflection of the community and that he was humbled by the Governor’s recognition; which included a letter that was read at the beginning of the City Commission meeting by Mayor Joe Boles.

The Commission meeting room was standing-room-only as friends and supporters of Nolan came to share in his special night.
