REV UP FOR THE RACE event at Flagler

Bethany Fessenden extended to Historic City News readers an invitation to join NASCAR driver and Flagler Alum Scott Lagasse’ Jr. of Americas Incredible Pizza/CJM Racing for a special local event.

“REV UP FOR THE RACE” will be held Wednesday, July 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the West Lawn at Flagler College; at the corner of Valencia and Sevilla Streets.

This event will be an opportunity for everyone to get together, meet Scotty, and help raise money for the Scholarship Fund he began two years ago. The Scholarship is in memory of his friend Josh Zwieg and benefits students with financial challenges (no donation required).

There will be music, food, a raffle for free race tickets, an auction and lots of fun! Auction items include four Daytona Sprint Tower Grandstand Tickets for all three days, two honorary Crew Members for Scott’s Race, miscellaneous NASCAR autographed merchandise, and much more.
